Biographie
OBNOXIOUS, french Brutal Thrash Death Metal band was formed in 2002. The current line-up is made up of Ludovic Mornand (vocals), Leny Zanotti (guitars) Mathieu Deygas (guitars), Nicolas Latreille (bass) and Matthieu Gamet (drums). Influenced by bands sounding like At The Gates, The Haunted, Slayer, Whitechapel or even Pig Destroyer, OBNOXIOUS develops a weird and dark music, putting together sharp and efficient guitars, mid-tempo melodic moments and three powerful and vindicative voices. After having released a demo in 2004, followed by an EP entitled « Dismal Swarming Shape » on november 2007, OBNOXIOUS is announcing its debut album « Lab #01 » recorded at the Sonovore Studio (Furia, Destinity…) and mastered by Tommy Hansen (Hatesphere, Helloween...) at the JailHouse Studio. OBNOXIOUS already shared the stage with BOLT THROWER, GOD DETHRONED, ABORTED, BENIGHTED, LENG’TCHE, KRONOS, RECUEIL MORBIDE, THE ARRS…

Du gros brutal death aux influences thrash ! Du son que j'adore et dont je ne me lasse pas d'écouter Et pour faire plaisir aux deux rigolos, je trouve ce groupe unique dans leur genre pour du brutal death, vu que la voix et les accrods sont différents, plus tournés vers le thrash. Je les ai vu en live lors de leur période pur brutal death et ça bougeait beaucoup, sauf le public qui était à chier ce jour-là mais j'aimerai beaucoup les revoir pour me défouler dans la fosse sur ce son agressif !
